Introducing Heidi AI at Pathfields Medical Group

We are introducing a new tool called Heidi AI to support our clinicians during consultations from May 2026

What is Heidi AI?

Heidi is a secure clinical documentation assistant. It helps clinicians record notes during your consultation, so they can spend less time typing and more time focusing on you.

What this means for you

• Your clinician will be able to give you more attention during your appointment
• Notes from your consultation will be clearer and more structured
• We can work more efficiently, helping improve access to appointments

Is my information safe?

Yes. Protecting your data is a top priority.

• Heidi operates within strict NHS data protection and security standards
• All information is handled securely and confidentially
• We have completed thorough data protection and clinical safety checks before introducing this system

Do I have a choice?

Yes. If you would prefer your consultation not to use Heidi, please let your clinician know at the start of your appointment. This will not affect your care in any way.

Why are we doing this?

General practice is busier than ever. By reducing administrative workload, we can free up more clinician time to care for patients and improve access to services.
